A memorable part of gathering.
Something to share at the table, a gift to take home, or an idea that’s entirely your own. Let’s find the right direction together.

You don’t need a finished plan. Start with the moment you have in mind; we’ll help with the confections, quantities, and presentation.

Talk about a custom projectServing chocolates and giving gifts? We can explore both in the same conversation.
Help me choose02 / Past work
A few ways we’ve helped people welcome, celebrate, and surprise their guests. Each project began with a conversation.

A CLIENT GATHERING
For a Lamborghini event, an assortment of confections and custom-logo chocolates became part of the gathering. The full display set the scene; the individual pieces carried the detail.
Imagine your event
HOPE WEST GALA
We made 250 individual tarts with dark chocolate and hazelnut ganache, caramel, vanilla crema, and chocolate “mushrooms.” A past example of a dessert developed for an occasion.

A PRIVATE CELEBRATION
Chocolate dinosaurs and dinosaur eggs with Pop Rocks, tucked into dinosaur boxes. A theme carried all the way through to the treats inside.

THOMPSON HOTEL MIAMI BEACH
Bonbons decorated in the colors the hotel requested for that week. An example of how a small confection can reflect a particular guest experience.

These are examples of past projects. We’ll discuss what’s possible for your occasion, date, and scale.
03 / Make it yours
You might start with an Alpen assortment, a color you love, or a concept that needs developing. We’ll help you understand the work involved.
A selection of Alpen confections, with quantities and formats suited to the guest experience.
Explore colors, decoration, and presentation. We’ll distinguish existing choices from special sourcing or production.
A special flavor, shape, or chocolate element starts with a feasibility conversation. Development and timing are considered separately.

A local collaboration
We developed a special truffle recipe with whiskey from local distiller Storm King Distillery. A familiar ingredient became the starting point for something made together.
Tell us about your custom ideaOur Client Gifting page is the place to plan those. Gifts for guests attending your event belong here.
04 / A few useful details
You don’t have to solve everything before contacting us. A few details help us offer the right guidance.

Guest count is the starting point, not the piece count. Confections served during an event and gifts taken home need separate quantities. It’s fine if you need help working those out.
An approximate confection budget helps us suggest a suitable direction. Assortment, quantity, presentation, and development all affect the proposal. If you need help understanding the options, tell us.
Availability depends on the date and scope. We’ll agree on pickup or other arrangements, transport, storage, and who sets out or serves the confections. Setup and on-site service are discussed separately.
Tell us about allergies or dietary requests early so we can review them with you. Our kitchen also processes allergens; leaving an ingredient out does not eliminate cross-contact risk.
05 / Working together
Share what you know, and where you’d like our guidance.
We’ll discuss possibilities, practical details, and a proposal.
Scope, payment, production timing, and fulfillment are agreed before the work goes ahead.
The people behind Alpen
Lin & Mike · Master chocolatiers
Montrose, Colorado
We’re Lin and Mike, the makers behind Alpen. In our Montrose workshop, we make every confection by hand, with short ingredient lists and meticulous attention to flavor, texture, and finish.
Real fruit. Carefully selected chocolate, including single-origin varieties. No flavorings, extracts, or preservatives.
Our chocolate comes from Cacao Barry, Callebaut, and Valrhona. Each ingredient has a purpose. Each confection has its own distinct character.

06 / Your occasion
No exact flavor choices or finished artwork needed. A rough idea—and the things you’re unsure about—is a useful place to begin.
Tell us what you have in mind. We’ll review availability, pricing and the details together.
